The sea, the sea

Well, a little bit anyway, especially for my one remaining reader.

Not taken today though it's equally sunny today but it's very, very windy.  Very mild too but I understand that won't last.  I may go for a walk along the pier with the lure of the cafĂ© at the far end.

  1. Ah, the sea, the sea!
And with blue sky, fishing boats and a whiff of the aroma of the seaside.
Although that may be the drains here of course.......

One reader? One comment, so far, lots of readers surely.

  2. Walking past some of the fishing boats can be a bit of a challenge at times, with the whiff of dead fish.

Plenty of people rush past looking at old posts but nobody I know. I will have to spread my wings and visit new areas, I think.

  3. It's amazing how quickly people disappear.
A few I know are otherwise occupied but miss out three posts and some run off.
There are around a hundred billion others around however....

    1. There are, of course, plenty of pebbles on the beach. :)

  4. I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking,
And a grey mist on the sea's face, and a grey dawn breaking.

    1. I had to learn that off by heart at school. There were a lot of things I had to learn off by heart but most are forgotten. That one I've always liked and so it stuck, even though I'm a landlubber through and through.
