PhotoHunter: Empty

Emptygarden

It's really quite a small garden. Three years ago it was empty.

Last September, after some effort, the fruits of our labours were not only the grapes, but apples and pears too:

  14. How did you get apple and pears within three years?
I'm envious of the garden, besides health issues, been too lazy lately.
Managed to plant only a few lily bulbs, last year.

  26. I haven't looked all that many photo hunters and all so different.

I see you put a lot of time and love into your garden what a great picture.

I did picture for the photo hunt.

I think I'll have it down by next Saturday and it should be done right.

  27. Thank you everyone for your comments. It was carefully designed to be a low maintenance garden because we are away so much, and a good proportion of it is covered in gravel. Don't give us too much credit for hard work!

We too were surprised at how quickly everything has grown. It seems to be fertile soil. There are two vines growing but only one is fruiting - the red grapes have yet to appear.
