PhotoHunter: Shiny

I love the displays of copper utensils in old kitchens, so I took a few pictures when we visited some châteaux during the week. The first is from Chenonceau.

The next from Villandry.

And finally my own, which are *sometimes* shiny!

I'd love to be able to have a display like the one at Villandry, but who would do the shining?

  12. Oh, I'm sure my husband would appreciate this very much. He loves to cook and would like to have his own set of copper cooking pans, pots and utensils.

  13. Chenonceau, my favourite chateau in the Loire. I like Villandry too but for the gardens not the copper.

  28. I went to visit my mom in the hospital and she has access to the internet so I tried to comment, but managed to get the whole system hung... trying again.

These are lovely copper pots, so shiny and I really like the color. I bet it takes a lot of muscle to keep these glistening and think of the polish...my, my!
