Chenonceau

Tired, after a horrible day at work, I'm just going to show some pictures of the chateau at Chenonceau. No guided tour, no tips required!

  1. Thank you, thank you, thank you for these photographs. They bring back such happy memories of a school exchange to Paris when I was in 5th form. During the "Bachot", went to the exchange family's country cottage and toured most of the Chateaux of the Loire. Particularly loved Chenonceaux

  2. I'm delighted you enjoyed them. We visited the Loire valley, for the first time in many years, for my birthday last month. We also "did" Villandry, Ussé and la Chatonnière so I'll post those over the next few weeks.

I was thinking it was something of a cheapskate post i.e. no thought required, but now that someone's expressed an interest, well, I'll have to hold myself back.

  3. The Loire Valley is one of those places I have always meant to visit but we have never got round to it. Your terrific pictures do much to whet the appetite again. I must move it up my list of things to do and places to see. Thanks.
