PhotoHunter: narrow

Narrow ways. Some from England, some from France. Some straight and narrow, some not so much.

narrow passage Winchester Cathedral

A passageway underneath the supporting arches on the south side of Winchester Cathedral. No wandering from the straight and narrow here!

narrow passage Eze A narrow passageway, I couldn't call it a road, in Eze Village, on the Côte d'Azure. A beautiful mediaeval village best visited off season when there are fewer people about.

narrow corridor Villandry

A straight and narrow corridor in the Château de Villandry. Villandry is best known for its gardens but the interior is well worth a visit too.

narrow road Winchester

St Swithun Street Winchester with a view in the direction of St Catherine's Hill.

narrow street Conques A narrow street in mediaeval Conques, in the Midi-Pyrénées. It's a beautiful village but it was almost deserted in November.

I used to go to a bookshop in Winchester. Now, what was it called? Can't remember. It was - oh gosh - 20 years ago!!
