The trailing offspring became a trailing spouse - and life keeps changing
This leaves such a lot of choice, I hardly knew where to start. In the end I've chosen three I took this morning.
I present to you: - the three ages of poppies - buds, flowers and seed pods!

Hi a. --So very nice to see you Photo Hunting and blogging again. :)
Many thanks YSTL :)
there is nothing so hopeful as a bloom about to burst
That's a great sequence of shots. I love seeing the development of the poppy which happens to be a favorite flower of mine.
Interestingly, the bird's eyeview of a poppy seed flower resembles that of a tulip.
That poppy is such a beautiful colour. I've always like the shapes of the poppy, and I love the seed heads. Great photos!
Beautiful! I hope this Mother's Day finds you in good spirits and comforting memories.
Now those shots cheer up my day!
Wow - really beautiful shots!Happy Weekend.
Those are very beautiful photos. It's interesting to see what people chose! Come see mine! :D
How colorful. I don't think I have ever seen a poppy growing. Illegal in the U.S., I think. Or was. Perhaps only certain varieties. What a beautiful Orange!
I love poppies...not that often seen around the blogs, so thanks for choosing them to share this PH day.
These are gorgeous. Thanks for dropping by!
Creative of you as usual. I love the vibrant red in Poppies. Especially when they grow out in the fields!
creative one, perfect catch indeed! Hope you'll visit mine too...Hope you'll visit mine too...
What a wonderful choice you made! The poppies look so happy and cheerful.
I wish the cycle of the flower lasted longer... I love to watch them but it seems many fade to soon.
That is SO lovely! A great PhotoHunt entry. :)
