PhotoHunt: squeaky
This isn't the picture I was thinking of posting for today. In fact I almost forgot altogether because I had to take this young man to the vet. Many of the noises he made in response to the vet were squeaky. Very.
He would have liked to have escaped Solomon, but no such luck! YTSL, it must have been in anticipation, because the poor thing is now partially bald where they had to shave him to find a vein - in three different places.
I didn't even think about it, but I call my Allie "Squeaky" because of the sound of her meow. She has long hair and is black and white. Her best feature is a single white eyebrow over her left eye.
Anyway, I'm sorry to here your guy is under the weather and hope he will be fully recovered pretty quickly.
Your cat is so beautiful .... is he a ragdoll with his large blue eyes? I know that it is probably a cliche but he really is 'as pretty as a picture!' I hope that he is well again soon.
Poor thing. Our cat once escaped at the vets. Little precious, lol.
ReplyDeleteSo... was this picture taken before or after the vet's visit? Judging from the expression, am inclined to think the latter! ;b

I'd squeak too if it happened to me. Hope he's well now. Merry Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteBe still my heart! What a lovely lovely kitty! Nice choice for The Hunt!

Better squeaky than growly!
ReplyDeleteHope he's doing well now. Great post and Happy New Year.
ReplyDelete@philos, you do have a point. I wouldn't have liked it either.
ReplyDelete@PastorMac's Ann, he's gorgeous and he knows he can get away with almost anything!
@Criz Lai, handsome is as handsome does. He does seem to be improving. Eating a little now.
@Daisy, I have to admit there were quite a few growls in there. More growls than squeaks. Yes, I'm afraid so.
Poor him! My dog doesn't like going to the vets either!

@Kissedalotoftoads, he's improving thanks.
ReplyDelete@Rach, no, they do seem to know the signs.
@tarheelrambler, your squeaky Allie sounds very elegant!
Glad he's doing better... there are times we'd rather hear a growl, huh.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cat! Happy New Year!

Mom says 'Squeak' is not exactly the word that comes to mind when she takes us to the Vet!
ReplyDeleteNot happy, not happy at all! Oh well, tomorrow is another day!

ReplyDeleteawww... what a beautiful cat! I love the fluffy fur! Hope he gets well soon.
ReplyDeleteA. he is beautiful. I hope he is on the mend. If he is anything like my Smoky he is spoiled rotten, but I love him dearly!
ReplyDeleteI squeak at the vet's too. It's only natural.
