"After scolding one's cat one looks into its face and is seized by the ugly suspicion that it understood every word. And has filed it for reference."
- Charlotte Gray

"Cats can work out mathematically the exact place to sit that will cause most inconvenience."
- Pam Brown

  1. I like: "Dogs come when you call them. Cats take a message and get back to you." :-)

  2. Very nice pictures. He chose to let you, I hope you know that. :)

  3. That is one gorgeous cat. My sister sent me a plaque that said, "Dogs have masters. Cats have staff." We have 3 dogs (well, right now 8 dogs) and 5 cats. It is so true.

  4. @Hi janeway! Mine doesn't often even get back to me. When he's ready, if he's ready.

@Max, yes I realise. It happened to suit his arrangements for the day.

@Janet, He's gorgeous, and he knows it. :) Dogs and cats are so very different, but we've never had both at the same time. I'll be watching your progress!

  5. love the quotes, will be purloining at some stage.

Forethoughts, afterthoughts, any thoughts. Tell me.
