PhotoHunt: bags

I have endless trouble getting into this blog this morning - and it isn't even morning any more!  I would have liked to have been able to say "Bags I first!" but there was no chance of that.

Some bags are a very important part of my life.

Just waiting for for a refill for the next bout of travelling.  The bags that travel with me come in every shape, size, and colour, but I'm not terribly particular.  As long as they have the capacity required, they'll do.

I'm a great deal more fussy about other bags.

So wherever I go, I make sure I have bags and bags of tea bags.

If you'd like to join in and find other other players, pay a visit to TNchick's site.  I'd like to point out, after a conversation I've had elsewhere during this last week, that as far as I'm concerned this a is not a closed shop.  All comers are very welcome.

  1. You must travel a lot and drink loads of tea :)

  3. I love the idea of tea bags for the post. That is perfect. I also love luggage bags - they take me wonderful places.

  4. Bags and travel: A great combination and therefore a nice contribution to the theme :-)

  5. I've got a similar collection of suitcases, even thought I don't travel that much.

  6. I travel a great deal more than I drink tea, but it's hard to find decent tea in France, so I make sure I have plenty. :)

Thanks, all of you, for your comments. It hasn't been easy getting into Blogger today, from Europe, but it seems to have sorted itself out.

  7. I imagine from the snippets I learn about your life through this blog that your travel bags get used a lot. Do you have any that last long? Find that the more recent bags -- as with toasters, etc. -- don't seem made to last as long as the older ones used to. :S

  8. Bags I first!

Now that brings back some happy childhood memories.

Love the photos-can't do without my tea even here in the Tropics.

  9. Having bags of different shapes and sizes is a must when traveling, as is tea.

  11. I want to be packing my bags, but endlessly waiting instead....

Teabags vs real tea... love the taste of real tea, love the convenience of tea bags...

I love that teacup and saucer, where did you get it from?

  13. I would really love a cup of tea as I am traveling with not enough bags. So I am envious! ;)

  14. Traveling is not my "bag," but tea certainly is! Hmmmmmmm. I think I'll have some. :)

  15. Thanks for all your comments.

@YTSL, no they just don't last well at all. The one on the bottom of the pile is, amazingly, 20+ years old and now on its last legs. The rest are very recent replacements.

@Max and Sage, I love that teacup. I think I have a matching set somewhere. I got them second hand from someone closing down a B&B. It's made by Gien, not far from Sancerre. They have a fantastic factory shop in the centre of Gien, selling seconds.

Yes, I do quite a lot of travelling, and my fair share of tea-drinking too. :)
