Sparkle

I think I prefer the sparkle of light on water to any other type and besides, I find other sparkles very hard to capture.

The two above show light sparkling on the Mediterranean Sea.  In fact both were taken at much the same time but they look quite different.

Then we have two fountains, the top one in Monte Carlo and the second in Albi in the south west of France.

Finally, I suppose this is the ultimate in sparkle, the best of both worlds, another fountain but this time from Versailles.  Personally I prefer the more natural look of the light playing on the sea.

If you'd like to join in the PhotoHunt and find other players, pay a visit to TNchick's site where you can find out more.

  2. I like light on water best, too. That's not what I did with the theme, but I'm weird that way.

  3. Ah there's nothing like the sight of sunlight on water. Excellent choices for the theme

  4. Sunlight on water is breathtaking no matter where it is or how you see it. I've always found fountains to be fascinating. These are magnificent shots.

  5. Hi A. --

Some people would consider sparkles on water to be difficult to capture, not just other kinds of sparkles. Actually, I think the Photo Hunt has been a real photographic challenge this week -- but lots of participants have risen to the challenge, including you. :)

Like your top most photo - not just because of the sparkles but also because of the (cruise?) ship you've go in it. Also like your bottom most photo quite a bit -- two different types of sparkling surfaces in a single photo make for a real gem. :)

  8. Thank you all. Max, the sparkling wine never stays around long enough to be captured on a photo. I have no idea why you were expecting it. :)
