Photohunter: string

I was tempted not to join in today because I really wasn't inspired by the theme, but I had to go to a nearby town and there I managed to find some pictures.

Some children arrived by the river with bits and pices of bread. Suddenly this string of ducks appeared as if from nowhere.

A doorway with strings of creeper falling down over it. I'm not sure how the owners get in and out, but it does look pretty.

And then I saw this in a shop window, with silver strings for decoration and a string of pearls around her neck. Very French.

  13. Sounds like it's feast or famine: i.e., before going into town, you had nothing; now you have at least 3 good ideas and photos! :)

  16. You have great shots for the string theme this week. The third one is so unexpected.

I thought I'd answer your question here about how we do the side by sides. We don't consult or look at each others photos in advance (most of the time). It was coincidental that we both had guitar strings this week. The only issue is if one of us has a photo that's more of a vertical layout and the other horizontal, one of us has to change our shots for them to work.
