A new day dawning

This morning I was awake early and watched the new day dawning as I sat on the veranda with my first cup of tea of the day.

The sun started to light up the neighbouring houses...

.... and the tree next door

....as autumn makes its progress, beautifully

  2. Thanks Elaine :) The low rays of sunlight were casting a lovely glow over everything. Just a minute or two later it was all gone. Usually it's the minute or two later when I arrive with the camera, but this time I was lucky.

  4. Veranda, hm? Beautiful pics of the sunrise. I think you should try to take the same view of the trees every few days and then do a sequential layout of the changing of the leaves.

But what do I know. :)

@Max, I have considered that but I suspect I may be the only person interested.
Hi Solomon, thanks, there's nothing like autumn colours, except perhaps spring colours :)
