La cave à vins

A small town snapshot.

Appearances can be deceptive.   Inside is very much less shabby and the owner socks a good selection of wines.  Most of the shops around here are shabby outside, but one or two are much the same inside and one in particular looks as though it hasn't been changed for a hundred years or more.

  1. Hey there! If this is a small town shot you should go post it at Small Town Snapshot Sunday for this week! :)

  2. I've found that some of the shabbiest looking on the outside are the BEST on the inside. That goes for people too :)

  3. Is this a photohunt thing or a wine thing? Or a building inspector thing? Or not a thing at all?

  5. Sorry Wendy - I will. I'm not as up to date or organised as I'd like to be. I know because Max told me so. And I now see the typos too...

    @Shutterbug, so very true!

    @Max, it is a thing but not one of those things. It's a thing all of my own. Things ain't what they used to be, you know. The thing is, all good things come to he who waits.

    @mmichele, they are unique, I think. I doubt you'd find one quite the same as this anywhere else.

  6. I like that photo. Well, it depends in what way it's shabby. I kinda like some shabbiness.... It has a history giving it life sort of :-)
