Balm for the soul

I am feeling under the weather today, to put it mildly, so I decided to look through my photos.  Looking through pictures will always soothe me when I don't feel well.  Listening to some familiar music will have the same effect, or a few kind words from a friend.

  9. Hope you'll feel better, A. And yeah, I can find looking through pictures soothing too.

On a related note: more than once, I've felt refreshed after looking through my hiking photos and assembling photo-essays out of them. I think it's all the green... and the nice reminders of good times that make it so. :)

  11. That did sound self-pitying of me, but I was truly feeling pretty grim at the time. Thank you all for your kind thoughts - the recovery is been duly accelerated.
